If musical entertainment is what you are searching for, visiting Bethany Beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day is a good idea. You don't want to miss the free musical acts at the Bandstand. Different artists perform on the weekends with a variety of different genres of music. The Annual Bethany Beach Boardwalk Arts Festival is held every September. Countless different types of art from numerous artists and shops are displayed along the boardwalk. Clay masterpieces, drawings, paintings, glassware, jewelry, photos, prints, and sculptures are all available to view. From June through September on selected dates the Farmers Market is in town at Bethany Beach. Choose from a variety of fresh produce. Vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers, cheese, eggs, and honey are just some of the products sold at this event.

Bethany Beach Events, Entertainment & Things For Kids

Visiting any of the area's parks is an exciting day excursion. North of Bethany Beach is Delaware Seashore State Park where camp sites and a marina are located. Six miles of coastline, boat ramps, and charter boats are all found here. Three miles south of Bethany Beach you will find Fenwick Island State Park with both pristine beaches and a food stand. Five miles northwest of Bethany Beach you will come across James Farm Ecological Preserve where tours and exhibits are held. Learn about the wildlife found in the park and view the park from the three observation towers. Of course, mini golf, arcades, and water parks are all located nearby as well. In Bethany Beach, Captain Jack's Pirate Golf, is a fun place to spend the afternoon with the kids. Arnie's Playland and Virtual Fun are Bethany Beach's two arcades you don't want to miss out on. Nearby in Ocean City, Fenwick Island and Rehoboth Beach more attractions are located including water parks and go-kart tracks. Whatever you feel like doing, Bethany Beach has many attractions that will keep you busy and have you ready to try more.
